Today we can freely harvest nettle seeds!



Our very own superfood!


Did you know that female nettle seeds are packed with:


Vitamin A

Vitamin B (several)

Vitamin C

Vitamin E

Vitamin K

Iron

Silicon

Calcium

Magnesium

Manganese

Phosphorus

Potassium

Beta Carotene

Folic Acid

Essential Fatty Acids (several) and the neurotransmitters acetylcholine and serotonin, making them natural mood boosters.


They are used as an adrenal tonic and great as a pick me up for people who are burnt-out, run down, depressed, fatigued, low in energy and with low libido as they increase active testosterone levels.


Dried nettle seeds can be added to your morning oats, added to breads, sprinkled on salad or eaten by the teaspoon but don’t take more than 15g per day to start with as they will really interfere with your sleep!


How do you identify female from male plants? Easy!

Male seeds pods are not so abundant and stand more erect whilst the female seeds are laden in seeds and droop downwards!!


So ditch those imported Chia Seeds and head out into your garden to harvest your very own legal high.
