A very ancient chakra, well documented in history. Situated between the eyebrows, it is connected to the pituitary and the hypothalamus within the brain.
This chakra is also connected with intuition, imagination and inspiration. Physically it affects the pituitary gland. This is the ?mastergland? of the entire body, controlling the endocrine system (all hormones and their ?knock-on ?effects).
Imbalance
Dysfunction here may result in allergies, sinus problems, adenoid and eye /ear disorders, lack of energy and /or sex drive, nervous or hormonal disorders, skin conditions ie psoriasis, eczema, impetigo etc.. One of the functions of the hypothalamus is temperature control?. imbalance here may therefore result in hot/cold flushes and excessive perspiration .
Positive potential
